About Us
The purpose of Cynhyrchion Cymraeg (Welsh Products) is to provide everyday objects in our own language, Welsh.
The company was founded in May 2025 in response to a problem faced by many people in Wales: 'Where is my name?'. Starting with general jewellery, the intention is to expand the options to more everyday objects in the future.
Our Story
The main inspiration behind Cynhyrchion Cymraeg is my personal experience of having a Welsh name and the difficulties I faced in finding objects with my name on them. As a child, the experience was disheartening. As an adult, the experience was inspiring! To promote the Welsh language, everyone needed access to everyday items in the language. As a result, 'Cynhyrchion Cymraeg' was born!
Our Hope
Our hope is that every Welsh speaker across the world will be able to live their everyday life in their own language, without linguistic barriers. Although Cynhyrchion Cymraeg may not be able to solve every linguistic obstacle, the hope is that the company can be one step closer to this dream.
